UK IPA
IPA is the top-selling style of craft beer for many years running. It has changed a lot since the age when it shipped by sea from England to India, but this one hearkens back to delicious traditional ingredients and techniques of 19th Century UK brewers. Light in colour, and seemingly light in body too except there’s a nice, well-rounded, bready mouthfeel at the same time. Fairly malty-sweet with some caramel complexity but profoundly hoppy too in a classic English way (fruity/floral/herbal/earthy/woodsy, as opposed to New World grapefruit/pine/tropical notes). Ye old-timey hop heads rejoice!
