Tap of The Hill Lager
When Erik of Lorenzo's asked us to make a beer exclusively for the Hill, we thought it was a great idea. Dylan, Brandon and I talked it over and came up with a great recipe to offer as a nice counterpoint to some of the traditional Italian lagers. Erik came up with the name and a great name it is! Cheers to an area of St. Louis that is steeped in great history and fine cuisine.
St. Louis Italian-American beer drinkers rejoice! Here is the exact mid-point between a fizzy light lager and complex red wine. Soft grainy aromas and flavours with hints of freshly-baked crusty bread, balanced by floral and citrusy hops, blackberries, blackcurrants. Subtle sweetness which stands up to rich pasta sauce. Crisp and cleansing, playful and pairable, a beauty to behold. We proudly present Tap Of The Hill, a hometown lager which goes great with your favourite hometown cuisine. Salute!
