Belgian Dubbel Ale
Anyone who has been to our fine establishment or has imbibed in one of our tasty beverages probably knows that we like to play with brown ales... a lot!! This is a Belgian-style brown ale with subtle fruit and spice aroma from the Belgian yeast and German hops. Medium body, assertive caramel flavor with a clean, dry finish of subtly earthy raisin and plum.
This is one of the brand new line of Belgian beers we've just introduced (the others being the Belgian Table Beer and the Big Belgian Blonde Ale). Here at The Civil Life we pay homage to all things traditional in the Grand Halls of Beerdom and what's more traditional than Belgian beer? The way we figure it, if the wheel ain't broke, don't fix it! So here's our take on the traditional Belgian Dubbel.
