ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT ITEMS:
There are a lot of people that make this happen every year and we always need to give thanks for them. The team at the Block puts out incredible food every year for this event and every single day at both of their locations (one in Webster and one in the Central West End)! If you haven’t been to both of their locations you are missing out. I would stop missing out this and head there now for dinner. Mike Emerson at Pappy’s as you know is BBQ King here in St. Louis, you best head on over to seem him soon as well as no one cooks more pig each year than Pappy’s. Chris from Mac’s Local Buys (our Kluesner farm Red Wattle Pig Source!) is practically a fixture at our pub. He often does his meat pick-ups and grocery bag pick-ups at the Pub. I know you are buying locally sourced proteins to go with your locally sourced beer so why not look Mac up and give him a shot. Most of you already do.
And a huge thanks to our staff and courageous volunteers (especially Kerry Feld for scheduling everyone) at the Civil Life, who love this event every year and are always finding ways to do more to make this happen. And a huge thanks to Brendan and Bob from Completely Sauced. Brendan and Bob and Tony last year cooked a ridiculous amount of sausages for everyone.
So my bowler is off to them and to the many volunteers that will help us pull off this great event and my hat is off to you wise customer who heeded my warning and purchased your tickets early.
Cheers,
Jake
