Found in a hostel in Belfast. It seems all it took was a few Guinness to answer the age old question, “Can’t we all just get along?”
Things are moving along. The front room is gutted and by that I mean we have a massive pile of construction waste heading to a landfill very soon. We did save as much wood to re-use as possible and are recycling all metal that can be recycled. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much use for the old drywall and blown insulation. I can assure you spending a few days cleaning up blown insulation is really quite a joy the good thing is that I breathed enough of it in that I am now insulated myself. (Just kidding, I did wear a mask). The place will be cleaned up quite soon and it seems to know something great is about to happen to it.
I mean, sure it’s been a hostess distribution center and a Suburban Journals distribution center and a manufacturing center for years. But now, as we whip it into shape it seems to know it is going to be a brewery.
Yesterday when I walked in I could have swore it said, “Thank you.”
Our architectural plans will be done soon and soon thereafter we will start planning our budget. If all goes as planned we will actually have money left for the all important brewery equipment, that is if I don’t spend it first at the Bleeding Deacon. Sure is nice to have a good bar around the corner from the new place.
Hello earthlings. I have been sent here to open a brewery. I hope you have time over the next year to check in from time to time and see our progress (or lack there of at times).
